LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Catalyst Professional Services is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker interested in advancing their career and serving our military service members at the same time.
We have a full time opening at the Branch Health Clinic, Yuma, AZ.
Candidate Requirements:
Possess a master’s degree in social work from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
Have minimum of two years post-masters experience as a clinical social worker within the last three years.
Possess a current, unrestricted license to practice independently as a Clinical Social Worker in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U. S. Virgin Islands.
Prefer experience-treating combat related Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and post deployment combat mental health related issues.
Licensed Clinical Social Workers shall perform a full range of clinical Mental Health services to include diagnostic examinations, the development of comprehensive treatment/diagnostic plans, outpatient psychotherapeutic treatment for individuals and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults; stress/anger management, family separation issues, crisis intervention and consultation with medical staff on a routine basis.
Perform assessments, evaluations, consultations, differential diagnosis, and treatment for all disorders defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (current edition) published by the American Psychiatric Association.
Work closely with clinical staff and/or base personnel regarding patient awareness of mental health wellness programs (addictions, stress management, group therapies).
Provide therapeutic treatment and evaluation of patients in the Family Advocacy Program dealing with domestic violence, physical and sexual abuse, as requested.  Provide professional assistance to the Substance Abuse Counseling Center (SACC) and their programs to include dependency determinations as requested.
Provide patient consultations requested by clinic staff health care providers within guidelines established by Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton.  Provide therapeutic treatment and evaluation of patients with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Combat Stress Disorders.  Provide psychological assessment and treatment of individuals confined in the Marine Corps Air Station Yuma Brig, as requested.
Provide input to medical board determinations and administrative separations as requested; write and submit associated reports through the Department Head.  Perform mental and behavioral health case review and provide clinical input for Personnel Security Clearances and other related tasks IAW Department of the Navy Central Adjudication Facility (DONCAF) requirements.

The Behavioral Health specialists are responsible for diffusing emergent behavioral situations, assisting with the identification of soldiers who may show signs or symptoms of posttraumatic stress disorder, mild traumatic brain injury and related conditions.
The Behavioral Health Specialists utilize all psychiatric and treatment modalities to include groups, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, pharmacotherapy, community psychiatry, and liaison psychiatry, and adequately diagnoses and treats the mental disorders listed and described in the DSM IV.
They have a broad knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and treatment activities including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy and somatic therapies for disorders described in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (IV) (DSM IV) as well as the knowledge and ability required to direct a multi-disciplinary psychiatric care team.
