THIS POSITION IS IN COLOMBIA – AVIATION SAFETY MANAGER
Essential Job Functions
Assist in the management, implementation and facilitation of safety protocols and programs, Standard Operating Procedures, and checks and balances to ensure safe flight operations throughout the theater of operations.
Implement established safety procedures, develop self inspection checklists, and assist in mishap investigations.
Manage all technical systems onboard the aircraft and ensure the proper functions are used in accordance with federal aviation regulations.

Required Skills/Experience:
Be an accomplished Flight Safety Manager with ideally a former Military Flight Safety Officer.
Must have a minimum of three (10) years in safety-related role.
Must be able to manage all technical systems onboard the aircraft and ensure the proper functions are used in accordance with federal aviation regulations.
DOD trained and knows all DOD and US Federal compliance requirements.
Have experience in aircraft mishap investigation and of Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and ASRA (Aviation Safety Reporting System).
Possess excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, able to adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines.
This position requires international traveling.  A valid passport is required.
