FAV/LAV Armor/Vehicle Technician - Afghanistan

All candidates should be willing and able to work in a high-threat environment and pass pre-deployment medical screening to include a Physical Training test. Must be able to obtain and hold a valid security clearance.

Job Description:
Maintain (preventive and corrective maintenance) of assigned fully armored vehicles (FAV) and light armored vehicles (LAV).
The AVT is designated as support (S).
The AVT is required to attend the non-PSS training course.
The AVT is required to maintain weapons qualifications with a Glock and M4.
Establish and implement maintenance plans.
The AVT shall carry out repairs of FAV/LAV vehicles and report status as required.

Must meet all of the below qualifications:
U.S. Citizen.
Level 3 English proficiency.
One (1) year of overseas experience performing as FAV/LAV.
ASE / factory-certified) for the equipment/system or vehicle assigned. Minimum of two certifications listed below:
Engine Repair
Automatic Trans/Transaxle
Manual Drive Train and Axles
Suspension and Steering
Brakes
Electrical/Electrical Systems
Heating and Air Conditioning
Engine Performance
Documentation of certification must accompany the resumes.
