Engineering and Technical Manager

Description of Duties:

Develops or collects, organizes, analyzes and evaluates acquisition-related engineering and technical systems and processes and performs management functions such as systems engineering for manufacturing and production of offensive and defensive space control systems.  Develops metrics, tracks performance and periodically reports performance metrics, makes/implements improvement recommendations.

Experience Requirement:

Typically requires 8-10 years of related engineering experience.  Knowledge of Air Force/OSD organizations and acquisition processes is desired.  Masters Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of educational, technical training, or work experience.  Specific knowledge of satellite, space surveillance sensors or space command and control technologies required.  Workingknowledge of offensive and defensive space control systems, techniques and requirements highly desired. Top Secret w SCI eligibility required.
