Location: Fairbanks, Alaska (Local hires only)
The CMA/OH Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of occupational health testing procedures in the Fairbanks clinic and as well as some on-site field testing, performing data entry of testing results, generating compliance reports for clients, supporting the medical providers with their patients, and other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Must have clinical competence for the designated area(s) and have a solid understanding of overall day to day operations of service area, equipment, and patient flow/triage. Must demonstrate positive attitude, have excellent interpersonal skills, and have critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Remain current and competent in industry, service area scope, and clinical skills necessary to meet the responsibilities of the position.

Ensure a customer service focus is maintained.
X-Ray experience preferred.
Role model and ensure that Standards of Care, Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics, and Policies and Procedures are followed by employees.
Comply with the regulatory agency rules and regulations to assure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Demonstrate ability to multi-task and serve as a technical resource.
Demonstrate flexibility and the ability to handle and implement change with minimal disruption.
Ensure that standards of care are met, and procedures are followed.
Ability to perform and/or understand all technical aspects of the clinical services division to include audiograms, RMA/PFTs, FCEs, fit testing, vitals, patient triage, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot equipment.
Solid understanding of operations in the clinic as well as the field.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Strong Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Demonstrate effective communication.
Communicate with customers to ensure they are satisfied, and their needs are met.
Job Requirements - Education and Training:
High school education required
Familiarity with basic Microsoft programs required
Valid driver license required
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting, and include some lifting. Exposure to body fluids, sharps, and other health care occupational hazards is routine. Conditions will include exposure to hospital grade cleaning solutions, flammable solutions and gases, e.g., alcohol and oxygen, as well as latex and other industrial chemicals.
