Medical Staff (CNA, CMA, EMT-1)
Location: North Slope, Alaska
Schedule: 3 weeks on shift/ 3 weeks off; or 2 weeks on/ 2 off (full-time project; anticipated duration through March 2022)
Seeking medical staff (CNA, CMA or EMT-1 certification level) to support our on-site medical team in a dynamic remote environment. Looking for team members that are flexible, adaptable, reliable, customer service oriented, with a 'have fun' attitude. Primarily responsible for providing medical assistance, hospitality support, sanitization overall assistance in maintaining the COVID isolation and quarantine wards at a man camp on the north slope of Alaska.
Full scope and project duration fluidly changing to support corporate level testing for our clients related to the Coronavirus pandemic
Perform basic patient assessments, tracking vitals, record keeping, daily progress notes and administering COVID tests in accordance with project protocol
Preparation of specimen collection for lab testing
Coordination/delivery of hospitality needs to include food service
Maintain the isolation and quarantine wings to ensure proper sanitation, prevent cross-contamination to include removal of food trays, used linens, trash, etc.
Restocking of supplies as needed
Assist with close contact tracing, if required
Provide education for following preventative practices (proper hygiene, social distancing, etc.)
Sanitization of isolation and quarantine areas as per protocol
Other duties as assigned

Must possess current Alaska certification as appropriate for skill level Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Emergency Medical Technician-1 (EMT-1).
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting. The employee will be working in a potentially high COVID-19 exposure environment and must be able to wear appropriate PPE. Exposure to anesthetic gases, blood and body fluids, sharps, and other health care occupational hazards is routine. Conditions will include exposure to hospital grade cleaning solutions, flammable solutions and gases, e.g., alcohol and oxygen, as well as latex and other industrial chemicals.
