The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of administrative functions, including filing and data entry. May assist with overflow work from other departments. Supports department through a variety of tasks, ensuring that all duties and tasks are completed accurately and completely. Meets all deadlines while maintaining the confidentiality of our members and the Credit Union.

Provides general administrative and clerical support including data entry, mailing, scanning, and faxing.
Coordinates and schedules meetings.
Prepares meeting agendas, records minutes, and archives records.
Prepares and modifies documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos, and emails.
Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices and recordkeeping systems.
Resolves administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data, and identifying solutions.
Provides information by answering questions and requests.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Performs a wide variety of administrative duties.
Maintains schedules, appointments, and meetings in multiple calendars as required.
Maintains confidentiality of member and Credit Union information as outlined in Employee Handbook.

Education and Experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Good research skills and attention to detail.
Board bylaws and policies, Credit Union goals, organizational structure, financial activities, policies, procedures (including Office Procedure Manual and Employee Handbook), practices and systems.
Credit Union products, services, programs, and promotions.
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Planner, PowerPoint) proficiency is required.
Computer systems and software needed to effectively perform job.
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to handle and keep confidential sensitive information.
Types 60 words per minute with accuracy.
Records and transcribes notes.
Prepares and maintains a variety of records and reports.
Operates a variety of office equipment and machines.
Ability to travel, attend, and participate in meetings, seminars, and conferences held before and after normal business hours that may require unaccompanied long-distance travel and overnight lodging.
