Research & Development (R&D) Lab Analyst for Norco, CA
The Research & Development (R&D) Analyst will support all aspects of R&D operations in the lab and on the factory floor, as needed, to complete projects, develop concepts, support customer requests, and projects for manufacturing process improvement.

This role will report to the Leader/Manager of R&D Operations
Basic experience with analytical equipment (HPLC, UPLC, GCMS, Microplate Reader)
Experience with Chromeleon software is a HUGE plus
Basic experience with sample prep methods
Excellent analytical laboratory skills
Experience with lab equipment (scales, pH probes, refractometers, moisture analyzers, rheometer, viscometer, etc.)
Familiar with lab safety requirements
Understands and operates to: cGMP and Lab Safety
Maintains an accurate and timely lab notebook
Keeps appropriate and accurate records to support internal projects and external customers.
Scheduling/Executing lab testing/related activities, driving efficiency
Reviewing and Interpreting lab results
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Good teamworking abilities
The ability to work independently
Meticulous attention to detail, especially regarding food hygiene and safety
Strong analytical and numerical/math skills
Must be highly proficient in speaking, writing, and understanding spoken English
Proficient with Microsoft Excel & Microsoft PowerPoint
Assist in developing testing plans and protocols
Understands basic test method requirements (e.g.: user standardization, systems suitability, and related)
Provide status updates, work packages & milestones, and outcomes to the team.
Keep appropriate records to support IP strategy and support patent activities including
Strong work ethic and dependability.
Ability to maintain multiple projects at once
Other lab-related duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related technical field, expected, substantial progress on a Bachelor’s degree in these fields may be considered if the candidate is working to get degree completed combined with hands-on experience in a lab utilizing the skillsets listed herein.
MS, nice to have, not required
One to two years of experience in a related/direct field of experience, expected
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time during events.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Must be able to work a variety of hours in order to accommodate events.
Must be comfortable in a lab environment and the associated hazards of lab work
Must be able to wear all required PPE as needed to operate safely in the lab or other areas
