Human Resources - Rockledge, FL - Full Time

Corporate Office, Rockledge, FL 32955
Office hours between 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday – Friday

Duties/Responsibilities:
Consults with management providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partners with the HR Director as needed/required.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Identifies training needs for business units.
Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs (Joint Commission).
Conducts or assists with audits, mandatory reports, and other compliance reviews.
Oversees the unemployment claim and hearing process.
Maintains working knowledge of all applicable leave and accommodation laws including FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.
Documents and tracks worker’s compensation claims, accommodation request, and return to work process.
Performs general HR duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
SHRM OR HRCI Certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk, office equipment, and working on a computer
