Position:  Explosives Trained/Experienced K9 Handler - Independent Contractor

Company:  Global Safety & Security - K9 Division
Location:  Los Angeles / Orange County; CA
Assignments:   Hollywood venues (Grammy's, Emmy's, etc.); large amusement parks
Compensation:  Comparable for assignment
Experience:  2-5 years of experience required

Background check:  Must clear a background check.

Duties:
•Perform screening and K9 searches of buildings, vehicles, open areas, unattended items, and people.
•Work with local law enforcement that are on-site for event and/or amusement park.
•Ability to walk, stand for extended periods of time in both indoors and outdoors environments, and in all weather conditions.
•Demonstrates a professional appearance, and command presence.
•Act as a deterrent for undesirable behaviors and actions.
•Maintains situation awareness at all times.
•Must be at least 18 years of age.
•Must meet the physical demands of this position.
•Previous security, law enforcement, military, public safety, or K9 experience required.

 Full-time and part-time hours available.
