UH60 Journeyman Aircraft Mechanic 78 (3443-320)

Basic Functions:
Functions as the UH-60M Mechanic under the direction of the UH-60M Mechanic Lead.
The UH-60M Mechanic will perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, and inspections in accordance with approved publications and directives. The UH-60M Mechanic will also provide technical direction and
training to mentor Saudi Arabia National Guard (SANG) maintenance personnel when needed.
Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs UH-60M maintenance tasks and duties as required using approved technical directives and publication. Remove, inspect, troubleshoot, and install aircraft components and subcomponents.
Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing, and lubrication, and MOC/MTF support functions. Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, test equipment, and Ground Support
Equipment (GSE). Prepares, reviews, and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records.
Uses common measuring tools, measuring gages, and alignment fixtures.
Supports the Downed Aircraft Recovery Team (DART), as directed.
Ensures maintenance operations are conducted IAW safety regulations and directives.
Provides On-the-Job Training (OJT), coaching, and mentoring to SANG personnel.
Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities under the direction and supervision of the mechanic section lead or PC supervisors. Supervisory Responsibilities: As directed by the first line
supervisor or higher.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education Level:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred: Advanced degree or equivalent.

Training Certifications:
Required: Graduated from a US Army UH-60 maintenance course or possess FAA A&P or Foreign equivalent.
Preferred: Graduated from a US Army UH-60 aviation maintenance course and possess an FAA A&P license or foreign equivalent

Experience:
Required: A minimum of four years of maintenance experience on the UH-60.
Preferred: A minimum of six years of maintenance experience on the UH-60M.

Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements:
Must be able to communicate effectively with host nation personnel and company management.
Must be proficient in written and spoken English.
Possess a valid driver’s license.
Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire.
