Your role as a Ticket Writer for William Hill is critical to our reputation, you will be the face of our sports book operations. You will provide a high level of customer service, to both regulars and novice bettors, you will glean great satisfaction ensuring everyone feels welcome. As an expert in our menu of sports betting options, you will help to advise and answer customer questions to help them make an informed, responsible decision with their sports wagering and have fun doing it.
What You Will Do…
Provide a high level of customer service to anyone who comes into our sportsbooks
Adhere to all rules and regulations set forth by the Nevada Gaming Control Board
Answer all customer questions to the best of your knowledge
Work to resolve customer disputes/complaints and escalate to direct supervisor when needed
Communicate and promote our menu of sports betting options to customers
Act in a professional manner, representing William Hill with the highest of standards
Ensure that all necessary paperwork/documentation is filled out accordingly to company policy and gaming control board standards
Other duties as assigned
What You Will Need…
The ability to sit/stand for extended periods at a time
Must have basic computer knowledge (Email, MS Excel, internet, etc.)
H.S. Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check
Able to obtain a gaming license from the Nevada Gaming Control Board
Must have 1+ years of cash handling experience
High level of customer service
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including so nights, weekends, and holidays is preferred
Present yourself in a professional manner
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to do simple math
Understanding and a responsibility to adhere to all compliance requirements set for by the company and Nevada Gaming Control Board
Essential Functions/Exposures:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift, pull, or push 25 lbs
Must be able to write and do data entry for extended periods of time
Must be able to twist, bend, or reach with no significant boundaries
This position may be exposed to a smoke-filled environment
