The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will develop and oversee the Quality Assurance Program (QAP) and the Quality Control Plan (QCP) for the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Medical Disability Program (MDE). The QA Specialist will report to the Program Manager.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the VBA, administers the Compensation & Pension (C&P) Program for benefits to Veterans, their dependents and survivors. The MDE is a key component in the claims adjudication process for entitlement determinations for disability compensation and pension for a Veteran.
