Job Description

Scope:
The Housekeeper reports to the MSSI Program Manager or a designated Manager or Site Lead as directed by the Program Manager. The Housekeeper will deliver services in one of two settings: (1) Field Health Unit, (2) Small medical/trauma hospitals.
Those who work in hospitals, and other commercial establishments are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the premises. Hospitals, workers may have to wash bed frames and disinfect and sanitize equipment with germicides.
All services shall be provided in accordance with established standards, principles, and ethics of the profession, applicable professional specialty organizations, and the high-quality standard for which CHS is recognized.

Job Requirements

Required Certification, Qualiffications & Experience:
•High school diploma or country of origin equivalent.
•3 plus years in hospital and office maintenance cleaning is preferred
•Previous experience in a hospital setting and or previous experience working with DoD or DoS is preferred.
•House Keepers keep many types of buildings clean, orderly, and in good condition.
•The work can be physically demanding and sometimes dirty and unpleasant.

Other Requirements:
•Must have a current Passport or Jinsiya.
•Work hours are based on 40 per week.
•Ability to speak, write and communicate in English is highly desirable.
•Will have a valid, current country of origin or International Driver’s license.
•Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
•Non-U.S. citizen assignments under this contract must undergo, and favorably pass, an investigation conducted by the Regional Security Office (RSO). This background investigation will be conducted by the RSO’s FSNI (Foreign Service National Investigator).

Physical Requirements:
•Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically fit” in accordance with CHS requirements.
•Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
•The climate is desert-like, hot, and prone to dust storms.
