What You Will Do:
•Ensure technical capabilities of the US digital platform components and services are in place to deliver business requirements and align improvements to our pillars
•Lead solutions through collaboration with the engineering teams to ensure they lead our digital platform development towards its target state. Working with the Lead architect to ensure the target state and the "as-is" architecture is always up-to-date.
•Lead key US digital platform areas of concern / alignment including API standards, patterns and technology choices
•Identify areas of weakness that are or will impede our ability to deliver on business value and implement initiatives to remove them.
•Establish, maintain, document and communicate architectural vision for the US digital platform
•Design and document solutions for program/project considering existing tech stack
•Be accountable for the Non-Functional Requirements of a solution from the definition, delivery and verification of these requirements with the team
•Develop US digital platform architectural roadmap to reflect organizational priorities for the requirements area in collaboration with the Lead Architect
•Work to the architecture process WH US Digital and sync with WH US Digital NJ and Global where appropriate
•Provide complete picture of system relationships and interactions and create application flow in the organization
•Highlight existing US digital platform architecture tech debts and create plan to address potential failure points before they happen
•Interface with wider WH teams to effectively drive the solution including InfoSec, Infrastructure and Support
•Nurture best practices and guide teams through implementation difficulties
•Bring fresh ideas to the table and lead POC's
•Provide technical leadership and guidance, serve as a sounding board to engineers

What You Will Need:
•4+ years’ experience successfully leading architecture for multiple agile software product delivery
•5+ years’ experience in a senior or lead software development role
•Awareness of architecture methodologies and how to apply them including ToGAF, Zachman etc
•All traits of a good engineer & an experienced leader of people
•Approachable, rational & respectful
•Will see things through to the end and set the example for their team to follow
•Has a creative approach to problem solving while keeping solutions as simple as possible
•Not afraid to work outside of their comfort zone and knows what benefit can be given even without deep knowledge of the systems or people
