The Paramedic is clinically supervised by the site lead, designated manager, or other physician extenders on the work site and ultimately reports to the Program Manager.
The Paramedic provides basic and advanced life support assistance on an emergency basis for the care and treatment of sick and injured person(s). Will deliver services in one of two settings: (1) Field Health Unit (2) Medical/trauma hospital.

Duties:

The primary responsibilities of the Paramedic include the following:
Perform as part of the Team, maintain positive professional relationships with colleges, EMS and other Base personnel
Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
Maintains a comfortable, orderly, safe and clean environment.
Measures and records vitals and collects specimens.
Records and reports patient information.
Orders and maintains inventory of supplies.
Performs clerical functions related to medical activities.
Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and tasks forces.
Communicate issues and work with support team to resolve problems and improve patient care.
Prepares daily and weekly reports within established guidelines.
