Caliburn is currently seeking a Foreign National Physician to support Vaccination Administration Teams.

Duties:
The primary responsibilities of the Physician include the following:
May be required to interact with the client to ensure expectations are meet.
Will be required to attend meetings, collaborate with Caliburn Operational Support Team and implement processes to achieve goals set to meet client needs.
Provides clinical oversight of proper administration of Intra-muscular Vaccination for Vaccine Administrators
Reports to the Caliburn Medical Director and Global Medical Services Chief Operating Officer.
Ensures proper procedures of Intra-muscular Vaccination for Vaccine Administrators
Communicates and maintains open lines of communication with other departments and leadership to ensure contract initiatives are met and maintained
Sanitizes and maintains a clinically clean work area
Validates patient’s allergies and ensures no contraindication to COVID-19 vaccine
Ensure all patients have a copy of their immunizations upon discharge
Allows and provides education to patient questions regarding the vaccine, vaccination procedures, and potential side effects as needed
Reviews documentation and ensures all patient documents are signed prior to administration of vaccine
Disposes of sharps in appropriate receptacles
Documents vaccine administration per contract requirements
Instructs examinee to the observation and exit area for check out and monitoring following vaccine administration
Responsible for ensuring integrity and security of all privacy laws
Relies on research, cognitive reasoning and follow-up skills to complete tasks, fact-checking information to verify and document information, ensuring applicability, feasibility, and data integrity
Proactively multi-tasks on a variety of assignments; provides thorough work while maintaining a sense of urgency based on program needs
Maintains professionalism, ethical standards, discretion, candor, privacy and confidentiality of all company proprietary information, meetings, communication, and documents, including implementation of policies and procedures consistent with those of the organization
Accountable for and maintains a positive attitude and work culture with high motivation to achieve and excel in decision making, strong communication skills, and innovative problem-solving skills in line with organizational values
Maintains cold chain protocols when handling vaccine supplies.
Set up of mobile vaccination sites.
Packing of mobile vaccination sites when complete.
Performs duties in a Patient and Staff safe manner and follows the corporate safety policy
Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with contract requirements
Qualifications:
A University Degree(MBChB/MD) in combination with post-graduate experience to be able to practice Medicine without supervision in a UN Member State.
A minimum of three (3) years of continuous post-graduate progressive clinical experience in general medical practice.
Must be currently registered by a national medical board or council to practice medicine in their own country or another UN member state. License validity should cover the deployment duration.
Must hold Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) certification that are valid during contract period.
Strong organizational, analytical and written/verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving skills to research and resolve inquiries and respond in a timely manner
Ability to work well with senior management and across functions to achieve business objectives
Self-starter who is action oriented and possesses a strong sense of urgency
Proficient in Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Other Requirements:
Must hold a Passport valid for a term of no less than 13 months at time of deployment.
Must sign a Caliburn International Assignment Agreement and are bound to the terms and conditions of the agreement.
Shall be proficient in the ability to speak, write and communicate in English.
Physician Requirements:
Must be confirmed by a medical examination to be “medically and dentally fit” in accordance Caliburn Medical Readiness Guidelines and Policies and/or as dictated by the Client.
No conditions that would prevent the wear of personal protective equipment; including protective mask, ballistic helmet, body armor and chemical/biological protective garments or conditions that would prevent the capability of donning, lifting or carrying of up to 70 lbs. of referenced gear while running to a bunker or protected area in the face of perceived or imminent danger.
Must be able to lift and carry packages and cases of equipment
The climate is desert-like, hot, and prone to dust storms.
