Summary
CN3S is seeking a Network Engineer III to provide support for all Brocade hardware and software and direct access to Brocade support resources in order to ensure maximum availability of mission-critical Storage Area Network (SAN), Internet Protocol (IP) and Channel Extension resources in INSCOMs complex, multivendor environments. Additionally, the Network Engineer III will provide integrated direct support with direct access to Brocade support resources in order to streamline the delivery of Brocade services support and help accelerate problem resolution in support of our client.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Includes the following:
Accountable for all aspects of engineering requirements and manages the hands-on, day-to-day issues related to engineering activities
Responsible for engineering operations including security, maintenance and accountability
Responsible for meeting all technical requirements related to Engineering
Ensures that processes and network Engineering meet performance requirements
Point-of-Contact for Engineering related issues
Responsible for meeting all technical requirements.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Authority
N/A

Education and/or Experience
Prefer Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in technology related field required.
10 years of experience in Network Engineering and a certification in one of the following: CCNP, CCSP or Security+ certification.
DoD IAT Level II Certification

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials, managers, and subordinates.
Successfully pass a federal background check and a drug screen

On Tuesday, Dec. 7, a federal judge issued an injunction blocking President Joe Biden's COVID 19 vaccine mandate for federal contractors. Cherokee Federal is monitoring the court case and awaiting a final ruling. As a result of the injunction, Cherokee Federal is halting the enforcement of the mandate, however, if the injunction is lifted and the mandate remains, Cherokee Federal must reenact its vaccine requirement.
