This position is for a mid to senior-level Munitions Analyst to provide on-site (Pentagon) subject matter expertise concerning munitions management across DoD.
The preferred candidate has prior experience as an action officer working in DoD with munitions familiarity and an intermediate data analysis capability. The analyst will analyze worldwide conventional munitions inventories across all services: Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. This includes analyzing historical and current inventory and expenditure trends and variances across numerous types of munitions, as well as forecasting supply and demand to plan future inventory levels. Other tasks may include but are not limited to: producing bi-weekly High Interest Munitions Report (HIMR), collecting munition inventory and expenditure data, and reviewing munitions planning and programming across the Joint Logistics Enterprise. The successful candidate must have a strong work ethic, and demonstrate excellent oral and written communications skills. Individual must work with government and contractor analysts, and possess strong analytic and technical skills.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education: Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience or Master's Degree and 7 years of experience. Thorough understanding of worldwide conventional munitions inventories across all services: Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. High level of experience with the Microsoft Office suite of software is required especially PowerPoint and Excel.
